    ResearchHis research is comparative in nature, sensory ecological questions and deals primarily with the structure and function of sense organs in particular photoreceptors. His ethnobiological interests cover insects and other animals (mainly arthropods) as human food and as therapeutic resources to treat human and animal diseases and disorders.
